Biyi Bandele Shares Some Interesting Updates About His Forthcoming Movie Titled "Blood Sisters"

Biyi Bandele, one of the iconic Nigerian filmmaker discloses some pictures that were taking on set on his Instagram page. This is to sustain the interest of his audience in his forthcoming Nollywood movie, titled "Blood Sisters". 

 Interestingly, the film is a Netflix feature. Thereby, resuscitating the interest of the awaiting audience who have seen the likes of  "King of Boys" that was previously featured by the giant cinematic production.

Under the Instagram post, he added the following caption, “I’ve spent the past several months directing this stupendously exhilarating film, Blood Sisters, a Netflix Original set in Lagos, and we shot it in Lagos, featuring a stellar cast of truly brilliant Nigerian actors.”

It is also reported that Mo Abudu's EbonyLife Studios produced the movie and shared some details about the movie plot. According to Mo Abudu:

the dramatic thriller tells the story of two friends, Sarah and Kemi. Sarah is engaged to her dream man, Kola. While their life looks idyllic on the outside, it holds a dark side behind closed doors as Kola is a physically abusive, controlling fiancé. Despite her friend’s concerns, Sarah is determined to press on with the wedding. On the day of the traditional engagement ceremony, tragedy strikes and Kemi accidentally kills Kola. Fearing that no one will believe that she acted in self-defence, the friends decide to cover up the death, unintentionally setting off a catastrophic series of events.

The Blood Sisters Cast

The movie features some interesting cast such as Ini Dima-Okojie and Uche Nancy Isime play the starring roles, and Kate Henshaw, Wale Ojo, Deyemi Okanlowo, Ramsey Nouah, Uche Jombo and Segun Arinze.

The Blood Sisters movie also introduces newcomer Genoveva Umeh who is in the company of A-listers to include Deyemi Okanlawon, Wale Ojo, Gabriel Afolayan, Kehinde Bankole, Daniel Etim Effiong, Keppy Ekpenyong-Bassey, Maurice Sam, Ibrahim Suleiman, Toke Makinwa, and Okey Uzoeshi.

The Blood Sisters Cast is enough pre-evidence of what the movie might look like.
