Reborn in Moonlight captures the transformation of pain to purification, using vivid imagery and poetic symbolism. It reflects the intricate connections between humans and nature.

REBORN IN MOONLIGHT

And when the sun finally rises after the storm
ask it to reveal the emotions hidden
behind my tired eyes, let its rays cut deep
through my heart, wash away the sadness and pain
that have dwelled there for centuries.
Let its intense heat erase all traces of love
for loneliness and solitude in my soul
then at the end of the day, let it leave
it upon the seashore with
a short note for the moon; Beloved,
kindly purify this soul with a sea of
holy water and an eternal cleanser.

I know her seraphic soul will gladly consume the
fragrant flower sip by sip to the last drop
only then will my heart and soul be
able to live happily ever after like the reborn.
