Fountain Magazine Essay Contest 2020: The list of winners
Fountain magazine after announcing the deadline for the submission of it's annual essay contest for 2020 few months ago, it released the shortlist and later announced the names of the winners after numerous submissions from different writer as informed by the magazine.
These are the list of the various authors shortlisted for the fountain magazine essay contest winners 2020 below:
- 1st: "The Snowflake and the Sun", by Hannah Vuozzo
- 2nd: "Voices and Real Monsters", by Jan Keneen
- 3rd: "Prehysteric Brain", by Becky Hansen
- Honorable Mention: "From War Zone to the World", by Abdul Basir Talayee
- Honorable Mention: "For My Brother", by Hannah Kay
However, the respective writers were able to earn their ways after numerous submissions from different authors from the 6th to the 10th position on the shortlist
6th: "We Began as Strangers", by Olivia Langford
- 7th: "The Hater and the Madman", by Mike Munsil
- 8th: "Oak Within the Acorn", by Mila Lana
- 9th: "Born Worrier or Warrior", by Claire Hool
- 10th: "Things I Learned After My Body Shut Down", by Alina Theresa Vetter
