Must Read: Visual Arts— The Broken Pieces Of A Mad Man

Is a flash Fiction that narrates succinctly the story of man when his health fails. The story touches the carelessness of man when he notices some abnormal changes in his body or health but decides not to take such changes into considerations. The story ends with a question we often ask or come across, what would your answer be?

Pawners Paper

.... "Life is a bitch!"— the hit song on every man's playlist when life tickles him with his knuckles. So was it for him— the staggering legs struggling through the muds and the stuttering lips and a sound belch are the tune his own pains dance to. "Five weeks left!" He said with sympathy in his eyes as his lips break the words of his end. He handed over the report while muttering I'm sorry in the most friendly way possible. It had spread to other vital tissues without him taking much notice of his body. All he knew was the continuous fatigue and the consistent chronic headaches he started having few months back. But no, they wouldn't serve as an obstruction for the forthcoming project he had worked all these years to attain. The headache became more chronic but he'd rather let it slide. But to his fate, that which he struggled with for years, he wouldn't complete for his unwanted visitors knocks on his door. He was the careless watchman that sighted from away, the armies of his enemy—death, marching towards his walls with weapons of sickness but chose to ignore until their axes and swords came ramming through his gate.

So he drinks while he knocks until the cancer using his brain as a haven decides to open it. "Indeed, life is a bitch!" He exclaimed to himself

But, is she?
