"Here They Come" A Poem By Iyiakimo Kizito Chukwuebuka –Pawners Paper

Look at them Dogs that eat bones hung on their necks Vomiting fire from bamboos Burning innocent citizens For dressing fine they get burnt Hopeless

" Iyiakimo's 'Here They Come'  gave a deep and thoughtful piece about the motive behind the EndSars protests. He emphasize on the sufferings and challenges of the masses and hence, condemns it. His piece gave a stagnant vision about the struggles. #EndSars!"

  Here they come

Look at them
Dogs that eat bones hung on their necks
Vomiting fire from bamboos
Burning innocent citizens

For dressing fine they get burnt
Hopeless is the common mans hope
That bird ate the fruit at the back of my match box of badly joined wires
I’m a criminal, I’m brutalized

Our Cries!!
Wailings!!!
Tears!!!
Has fallen on deaf ears

Shaded are their eyes
Carcass all over the town
The dogs has eaten the bones hung on their necks
