The suicide awareness prevention is a movement dedicated to discourage and help those who are suffering from suicidal thoughts. 

Suicide is generally considered as an act that pose a general risk to the society, and such thoughts are often common among those who are suffering from mental disorders like depression, bipolar disorder, alcohol or substance abide as well as other medical conditions related to a specific family trait.

It's proven that on average, one person commits suicide every 16.2 minutes with the cause for suicide mostly linked to depression.

What Is The Suicide Prevention Day

The suicide prevention day is September 10. The first world Suicide Prevention Day was on September 10, 2003, and was launched in Stockholm by the International Association For Suicide Prevention in conjunction with the World Health Organization.

The world Suicide Prevention Day was designated as an initiative to provide a significant advocacy and communication based event aimed at reaching national organisations, governments and the general public, giving a singular message that suicide can be prevented.
