The Art X Lagos 2025 will be live on November 6-9, 2025.

The Art X Lagos is an international art fair that has established and further solidified the growth and the place of African art and the creative industry in the contemporary art world. Founded by Tokini-Peterside in 2015, the art fair has become a prestigious event that mirrors the dynamism and the creativity of Lagos City and its inhabitants.

Held annually in Lagos, the fair has repeatedly featured several multidisciplinary works, hosted artists and creative entrepreneurs in the African diaspora, and organised engaging panel discussions and exhibitions that showcased the true relevance of African art and its promotion. 

Slated for this year's fair are specially curated programmes, with the exhibition of J. D. 'Okhai Ojeikere featured under the Art X Icon standing out. The exhibition is expected to draw the anticipating audience into the vivid pictorial world of the renowned photographer whose 'precise lens captured Nigeria's cultural identity with depth and discipline'. Also, there will be a spotlight session for galleries at the event this year.

Yearly, Art X Lagos has reputedly affirmed its prestigious status as the first, biggest and most important art fair in Nigeria, showcased by its tremendous obsession with curating extraordinary live audio-visual experiences for its yearly audience. The Art X Lagos programmes run through like a live wire connecting creative genres, including film, art, and music, offering each its spark with ardent peculiarities. Fortunately, the bar appears to be raised even higher this year.

In celebration of its 10th-year anniversary, Art X Lagos 2025 is themed "Imagining Otherwise, No Matter the Tide".

• ART X LIVE! promises music raves, the sounds and an impeccable visual experience and performance by trailblazing musicians and visual artists. 
• ART X CINEMA invites you into the immersive cinematic world by showcasing the works of artists across Africa and its diaspora.
• ART ACROSS BORDERS highlights exceptional artists within the African community, in partnership with Afreximbank. 
• THE DEVELOPMENT FORUM fosters an open dialogue between the new generation of African artists and the established, professional art industry, hence creating a needed meeting point for the development of art and to build connections and advance careers within the art ecosystem.

SCHOOLS' PROGRAMME brings art close and makes it accessible and engaging for students of schools in underserved communities across Lagos.
